Localism is now an Act of Parliament. Following HTF's successful seminars last year, this half day seminar hosted by Bircham Dyson Bell will revisit the agenda, its main provisions and how communities in our towns and cities can use the opportunities in the Act to best advantage. This is of vital importance to historic towns, cities and cores.
The Act instigates more change to the planning system, with proposals to give local authorities and local people much more power to shape their own communities. But how are these ideas working in practice? Are local people using them to embrace or resist growth?
